Consecutive Interpreting

In consecutive interpreting the interpreter listens to the speaker and then speaks. The speech to be interpreted is split into sections and when the speaker stops talking the interpreter repeats the last section of the speech in the target language. No special equipment is necessary.

Simultaneous Interpretation

In simultaneous interpreting, the interpreter translates speech as quickly as possible into the target language. The interpreter sits in a specially designed booth and speaks through a microphone as he watches the speaker and listens to him through headphones. High quality real-time simultaneous interpretation.
